Demi Lovato has revealed that her self-harm and bulimia was sparked by bullying. The 18-year-old actress voluntarily entered rehab at the end of last year for help with 'emotional and other issues' and has since admitted that it was to get help with an eating disorder that spanned more than a decade. Talking to ABC show 20/20, she told how school yard bullying led to her 'compulsively overeating' when she was just eight-years old, and by 11, she was cutting herself. She explained, "It was a way of expressing my own shame, of myself, on my own body. I was matching the inside to the outside. "There were some times where my emotions were just so built up I didn't know what to do. The only way that I could get instant gratification was through an immediate release on myself." She added that she wants to share her story in a bid to help teenage girls who may be going through the same things. "The real reason why I'm sitting down with you is to open up the eyes of so many young girls, that it doesn't have to be this way," she said....
